This Privacy Policy explains what information Shop, Sell & Repair Wheelchair, operated by Buddy Cash LLC, collects, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and when disclosure may be required by law.

Shop, Sell & Repair Wheelchair is operated by Buddy Cash LLC. We collect personal information only for our own business operations and legal compliance. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not provide it to unrelated third parties for their own marketing or independent commercial use. Limited information may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf or disclosed to law enforcement or government authorities when required or permitted by law.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

When you request an appraisal, sell equipment to us, purchase equipment, request repair or rental service, contact us, or otherwise do business with us, we may collect information that is reasonably necessary to respond to your request and complete the transaction.

  • Name, phone number, email address, mailing or service address, and preferred contact method.
  • Photos and information about a wheelchair, mobility scooter, or other mobility equipment, including brand, model, serial number, condition, accessories, damage, and service history when provided.
  • Pickup, delivery, repair, rental, shipping, and appointment information.
  • Transaction and payment information necessary to document a purchase, sale, repair, rental, refund, or warranty matter.
  • Messages and other information you send by phone, SMS, email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, website forms, or other communication methods.
  • Identity and ownership information when required to verify a seller, document a secondhand-goods transaction, prevent fraud, or comply with applicable law.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate geographic area, pages viewed, referring page, and general website activity. We use this information to operate, secure, and understand the performance of our website.

2. Purchase records and legally required information

When we purchase used mobility equipment, federal, state, or local law may require us to create, maintain, submit, or report transaction records. These requirements are separate from ordinary website inquiries and may require us to collect additional information from the seller.

For a transaction subject to secondhand-dealer or similar recordkeeping laws, the information may include, depending on the applicable law and transaction:

  • The date, time, and location of the transaction.
  • A description and photographs of the equipment, including make, model, serial number, color, condition, and other identifying marks.
  • The seller's legal name, current address, telephone number, date of birth, and other identifying information required by law.
  • Government-issued photo identification information, including identification type, issuing authority, and identification number.
  • A seller statement or signature confirming ownership of, or legal authority to sell, the equipment.
  • Other information required on an official transaction form or by the applicable law-enforcement agency.
Law-enforcement reporting for secondhand purchases. Depending on the state and local law that applies to a purchase, we may be required to submit or provide transaction records to the law-enforcement agency or government system with jurisdiction over the transaction. This may include a county sheriff, municipal police department, state reporting system, or another authorized law-enforcement official. We provide only the information required or permitted by applicable law.
Florida secondhand transactions. For transactions covered by Chapter 538, Florida Statutes, we maintain the required secondhand-dealer transaction records for at least three years. Unless another arrangement is agreed upon with the appropriate law-enforcement official, Florida law generally requires a covered secondhand dealer to deliver a record of the transaction to the appropriate law-enforcement official within 24 hours after acquiring covered secondhand goods. Under Florida law, the appropriate law-enforcement official may include the county sheriff and, when the dealer is located within a municipality, the municipal police chief or their designee.

Information that must be kept or reported by law cannot always be deleted at the customer's request until the legally required retention period has expired.

3. How we use information

We use personal information only for legitimate business and legal purposes, including to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide quotes or online appraisals.
  • Evaluate mobility equipment that you want to sell to us.
  • Buy, sell, deliver, ship, repair, rent, or service mobility equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate pickups, deliveries, technician visits, and rental appointments.
  • Process, document, and maintain records of transactions.
  • Verify identity, ownership, and transaction details when appropriate or legally required.
  • Provide customer support, warranty service, returns, and transaction-related communications.
  • Prevent fraud, theft, misuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and business operations.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, secondhand-dealer, law-enforcement reporting, court, regulatory, and other legal obligations.

We do not use personal information we collect from customers to build or sell marketing lists to unrelated companies.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not provide your personal information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing or independent commercial use.

We may disclose or allow limited access to information only in the following situations:

  • Service providers. Companies that perform services for us, such as website hosting, analytics, communications, mapping, payment processing, shipping, or technical support, may process limited information only as needed to perform those services.
  • Law-enforcement and government requirements. We may provide transaction or identifying information to a sheriff, police department, court, regulator, tax authority, or other government authority when required or permitted by applicable law, including laws governing secondhand-goods transactions.
  • Safety, fraud, and legal claims. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate theft or fraud, protect customers or our business, enforce an agreement, or establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
  • At your direction. We may disclose information when you specifically ask or authorize us to do so.

Any disclosure described above is limited to the information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

5. Cookies, analytics, and website technology

Our website uses Google Analytics to help us understand general website traffic and usage. Google Analytics may process technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, session activity, and approximate geographic area.

Our website may also use services such as Google Maps and Google Fonts. When your browser connects to these services, the service provider may receive technical information necessary to provide the requested feature.

You can limit or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies or third-party resources may affect how certain website features work.

6. Online tracking and Do Not Track

Some web browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signal. Because there is no single universally accepted standard for responding to DNT signals, our website does not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

Third-party analytics or website-service providers may receive online identifiers and technical or usage information when you use our website, as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information or provide personal information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including completing transactions, providing service, maintaining warranty and accounting records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal obligations.

Some purchase and secondhand-dealer records must be retained for a minimum period required by applicable law. When a legal retention requirement applies, we will retain the required records for that period even if a deletion request is made.

8. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse. Access to transaction and customer information is limited to persons who need it for legitimate business or legal purposes.

No website, communication method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

9. Your privacy choices and requests

Depending on where you live and the law that applies to us, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information we maintain about you. You may contact us using the information below to make a privacy request.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before responding. A request may be limited or denied when applicable law permits or requires us to keep the information, including transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, warranty, dispute, or secondhand-dealer records.

We do not sell personal information or share personal information for unrelated third-party marketing.

10. Consumer health data

Because our business involves wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and other mobility equipment, information you provide about equipment, mobility needs, service history, or related circumstances may qualify as consumer health data under certain state laws when it identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual.

11. Adults only — 18 years and older

Our transactions, rental agreements, repair authorizations, and purchase or sale agreements are entered into only with adults who are at least 18 years old. Equipment may be purchased, sold, repaired, rented, or serviced for the benefit of a minor when the transaction is handled by a parent, legal guardian, or other adult with lawful authority.

We do not knowingly enter into a transaction directly with a person under 18. If we learn that personal information was submitted directly by a person under 18 without appropriate adult involvement, we will take reasonable steps to delete it unless retention is required by law.

12. External services and links

Our website may link to or use third-party services, including Google, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, payment providers, shipping providers, or other services selected by you. Information you provide directly to those companies is governed by their own privacy policies and practices.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, legal obligations, or privacy practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
